Week 2 continued...

The remaining 2 days of my second week also passed by pretty quickly. One of my assignments during this week was to come up with idea for a viral video for mathaf (AMOMA). It did take me some time initially to come up with the idea. I wanted it to be something creative at the same time not boring. I also wanted it to be short and simultaneously convey a message. After spending considerable amount of time I came up with the following idea –

“All the employees here at AMOMA as well as people from outside should describe the museum in one sentence. In between each sentences there could be very small video clips of the museum relating to the sentence they just said. For example: If someone says “its educative” or “it’s a learning experience” the video clip could be the library of the museum or a couple of people reading books in the library or something like that.”

I believe that such video could create really good vibe among the viewers since they could relate themselves to the persons saying the lines in the clip.

In addition to coming up with the idea, I also came up with various ways on how we can help publicize it – or in other words help it go viral. How do I use the social media websites present and use them for the benefit of the video.

2 weeks of my internship has passed. Four more weeks left. A lot of things yet to be learned – lot of skills yet to be acquired!!
